.Sage Pothast took a close look at an owl wing during the Superb Owl event that was sponsored by the Harrison County Conservation Board. These events are key in bringing families in the community together while also giving them a chance to learn about nature. .

Naturalist Connie Betts hosted a class over the weekend that was all about owls. Those that attended had the chance to dissect owl pellets, identify bones in owl pellets, make owl valentines and got a bag of candy to take home.

Both kids and parents alike worked to identify the bones inside of the owl pellets with the help of Naturalist Connie Betts.
