City of Dunlap Meeting Minutes June 12, 2024 Mayor Knickman called the regular council meeting to order on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 7:00pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall pursuant to law with the following council members present: Bonsall, Schauer; Gunia, Wingrove; absent: Murphy. Motion by Schauer second by Gunia to approve the agenda, moving the Girl Scouts up. All in favor, motion carried. Lexi Ohl, Karly Schwery and Savanna Miller gave a presentation on Paws at the Pool Day, the event would take place last day the pool is open. The girls are working on their Silver Award for Girl Scouts. Motion by Gunia second by Schauer to approve Paws at the Pool Day. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Gunia second by Bonsall to approve minutes from May 15 Regular Council Meeting. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Bonsall to approve payment of bills. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Gunia second by Bonsall to approve consent agenda items: Building Permits; Greg Brasel-cement for Ben Hansen, Tiffany Henkel- asphalt in parking, Steven Wingrove-deck add with ramp, Mike Ferguson-cement driveway; Final Plat of subdivision on Ullin Place. Ayes: Bonsall, Schauer, Gunia, Abstain: Wingrove, motion carried. Joyce Cogdill gave the Fire Department Report. Paula Evans gave the library report. Tony Warnock gave the Water/Wastewater Report. Joette Cogdill spoke under Public Input about the trash service. Mayor Knickman is going to call R&S about not picking up before 8am. Mayor Knickman appointed Kevin Feige to the P& Z Board. Motion by Wingrove second by Bonsall to approve Kevin Feige to the P&Z. All in favor, motion carried. Chief Miller gave the Police Report. He let the Council know that Watch Guard has changed software so unfortunately when ours quits working we will have to look at upgrading. Motion by Gunia second by Schauer to approve the tree bid from Lansik for $31,575. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Bonsall to approve a 5% raise for Paula Evans, Luke Fouts, Matt Koski, Steve Miller, Meredith Van Houten, and Tony Warnock. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Wingrove to adjourn at 8:41pm. All in favor, motion carried. These minutes will be approved at the next regular council meeting.
