BOYER VALLEY COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS - SPECIAL MEETING – MARCH 25, 2024 PUBLIC HEARING FOR FY25 PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX LEVY NOTICE 6:00 P.M. – BOYER VALLEY SOUTH, TAG ROOM CALL TO ORDER: Vice President Elizabeth Heistand called the regular meeting of the Boyer Valley Board of Education to order at 6:00 p.m. Members answering roll call were Paul Cogdill, Elizabeth Heistand, Craig Malone, Kim McAllister and Jen Miller. Directors Hansen and Puck were absent. Administrators present: Supt. Jeremy Christiansen, Elem. Principal Scott Frohlich and Secretary Terra Sell. Visitors present: List on file in the Business Office. APPROVE AGENDA: Motion by Miller, second by McAllister to approve the agenda. Motion carried 5-0. OPENING STATEMENT: Vice President Heistand announced the public hearing is required as part of the district’s certified budget. The notice provided to each resident shows the maximum total property tax dollars the district will adopt as part of the certified budget, which will be adopted by April 30th. WRITTEN COMMENTS: No written comments were received. ORAL COMMENTS: No oral comments were received. Vice President Heistand declared the public hearing closed. A motion by Miller, second by Cogdill to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 5-0. With no further business appearing before the board, Vice President Heistand declared the meeting adjourned at 6:04 p.m. These minutes are as recorded by the board secretary and subject to approval at the next regular board meeting.
