A Missouri Valley man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting at O'Face Bar in Council Bluffs on March 23.
Ty'Jon Lamonn Edwards, 22, was arrested on March 24 by the Council Bluffs Police Department on two counts of attempted murder, a Class B felony, as well as an additional count of intimidation with a dangerous weapon, a Class C felony.
On March 23, officers were dispatched to a shooting at the aforementioned bar shortly before 2 a.m. Upon arriving, officers learned that a disturbance had occurred as the bar was closing. Following the disturbance, a male suspect who was later identified as Edwards allegedly fired multiple rounds at the bar, as well as an occupied car in the bar's parking lot.
Officers said that no one was hit by the gunfire, but an occupant of the car did receive treatment for minor injuries.
After an arrest warrant was obtained, a vehicle that Edwards was riding in was located and he was taken into custody without incident.
Further investigation of the shooting led to the arrest of Nathaniel Thurlow, 32, of Council Bluffs last week. Thurlow was identified by investigators as someone who also allegedly fired multiple rounds at the vehicle in the parking lot.
Thurlow was also arrested on two counts of attempted murder and one count of intimidation with a dangerous weapon. Authorities now say that no other arrests are anticipated.
The case will be prosecuted by the Pottawattamie County Attorney's Office.
