The John Wheeler Jr. House has long history in Dunlap

If these walls could talk, one would hear the laughter of children, prayers of nuns and perhaps discussions of lumber as the builder and resident were involved in lumber yards.

Right across the street from St. Patrick's Church in Dunlap sits the John R. Wheeler Jr. House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built in 1897 by John R. Wheeler Sr.
