Evelyn Ruth Culver was born on Nov. 5, 1917, to Henry and Mary (Mercer) Frazier in Turin. Evelyn married Glen Culver on Aug. 2, 1942. The couple lived on a farm east of Dunlap, and later in life they moved into Dunlap. Evelyn was a hard-working farm-wife and she cherished being a mother. Evelyn also enjoyed sewing, quilting and walking.
Evelyn died on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020 at the Dunlap Specialty Care in Dunlap, at the age of 102 years, 11 months and six days.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Andrew Bak; and all of her 13 siblings. She is survived by her three children, Wayne Culver of Turin, Wanda Martin and Tim LaMaak and Cynthia and her husband Vince Wheeler all of Dunlap; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Evelyn’s wishes were to be cremated and no services are being planned. Fouts Funeral Home in Dunlap was in charge of the arrangements.
