City of Dunlap Meeting Minutes November 9, 2022 Mayor Knickman called the regular council meeting to order on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall pursuant to law with the following council members present: Casperson, Gunia, Bonsall, Schauer; absent: Kuhlman. Motion by Gunia second by Casperson to approve the agenda. Motion by Gunia second by Bonsall to approve the 3rd and final reading of Ordinance 208, reguarding the proposed City of Dunlap Code of Ordinances 2022. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Bonsall to approve minutes from October 8 Regular Council Meeting. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Gunia to approve payment of bills. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Gunia second by Bonsall to approve consent agenda items: Building permits for Terry Donscheski-cement pad, Chris Amato-fence; Liquor License- Crossroads Wine & Spirits. All in favor, motion carried. A 28E Fire Agreement with Monona County was discussed, the Council wants to the City Attorney to review it. Parking at the Senior Center was discussed, they would like a couple Senior Parking signs. Paula Evans gave a report on the library. Mayor Knickman let the Council know that he is going to change the way Public Input is handle is going to change, they will be given 2 minutes to speak and are not allowed to pick on City Employees. He also received a few complaints about one way. Chief Miller let the Council know that STEP 2023 will start November 15th, this year it will go to a speed sign and overtime. Motion by Schauer second by Gunia to approve the 15inch speed sign. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Gunia second by Bonsall to adjourn at 7:44pm. All in favor, motion carried.
