City of Dunlap Meeting Minutes February 10, 2021 Mayor Knickman called the regular council meeting to order on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall pursuant to law with the following council members present: Kuhlman, Hopkins, Gunia, Casperson, Schauer. Motion by Kuhlman second by Schauer to approve the agenda. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Hopkins to approve minutes from January 13th public hearings and regular meeting. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Gunia second by Kuhlman to approve payment of bills. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Gunia second by Casperson to approve consent agenda items: Liquor License for Knights of Columbus, The Dog House Bar & Grill, Dunlap Golf Club and Wendt’s Pots & Posies. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Gunia to approve liquor license for Nuther Round 21 once all the paperwork is in. All in favor, motion carried. A few business owners were in attendance to discuss snow removal parking on Main Street. No action was taken. Paula Evans gave a report on the library. She is now having Storytime for kids on Wednesdays after school. Joe Rueschenberg spoke to the Council about the Omaha Tribe who would like to be present during the digging for the Water Pressure System. He also gave an update on the Sewer Project. Mayor Knickman discussed new Police software. We are going to look more into it. Motion by Gunia second by Casperson to approve the Upper Boyer Drainage District extension. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Kuhlman second Schauer to accept the low bid submitted by Stinn Backhoe to fix the drainage on South 7th Street. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Gunia to adjourn at 7:58pm. All in favor, motion carried. These minutes will be approved at the next regular council meeting.
