Alan J. Mackiewicz was born Dec. 13, 1943, in Springfield, Missouri. Alan died on Nov. 1, 2021, in Omaha, Nebraska. Alan is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and John Mackiewicz; wife, Sue Mackiewicz; and son, Douglas Mackiewicz. Alan is survived by son, James Mackiewicz; daughter, Beth Morrissette (Jeff); grandson, Eddie Morrissette; Dennis Mackiewicz; and niece, Chris Mackiewicz.

Visitation and funeral mass for Alan was combined with the service for Bette Bremser on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 654 S. 86th Street in Omaha, Nebraska. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery.
